Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

These are the plain-language terms for using Dearkin. By using the app, you agree to them.

What Dearkin is

Dearkin is an iPhone app that sends you gentle reminders to call the people you care about. It is a personal tool for staying in touch — nothing more.

Use it kindly

Use Dearkin for its purpose: reaching the people you love. Don't attempt to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the app.

Reminders are best-effort

Dearkin schedules local reminders through iOS. Delivery depends on your device and iOS, which can delay or suppress notifications (for example, in Focus or low-power modes). Dearkin is a gentle helper, not a guaranteed alarm — please don't rely on it for time-critical or emergency contact.

No warranty

Dearkin is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the updated date above will reflect any change. Continued use of the app means you accept the current terms.
